Call us today Jo has joined the Campbell Brown Planning team as Principal Planner based in Wānaka. Over the last couple of years Jo has broadened her development experience as COO for a Wanaka-based development company, which provided a depth of understanding into development beyond planning, providing useful insight for a planning consultant.
Previous to this Jo was a senior planner/Director of a Queenstown/Wānaka based planning consultancy. Jo has almost 20 years of planning experience, 10 of which have been in the Queenstown-Lakes district, including managing the Queenstown resource consents team, at the Queenstown Lakes District Council.
Jo is stoked to be part of the Campbell Brown Planning team, and looks forward to sharing her strategic and pragmatic oversight to projects within the Queenstown Lakes and around the South Island.

Leading our southern base is Jo Fyfe, who joins us as Principal Planner. Jo brings nearly 20 years of planning experience across consultancy, the development sector, and senior roles at both Queenstown Lakes District Council and Auckland Council. Her local knowledge, strong networks, and practical insight into both urban and rural planning make her a fantastic addition to our team.
From Wānaka, Jo will be the local lead for projects across the Queenstown-Lakes district and the wider South Island, backed by the expertise of the broader Campbell Brown Planning team.
