Jo is a Principal Planner with over 18 years’ experience in resource management across the Queenstown Lakes District, Auckland, and London. Her background includes managing the Queenstown resource consents team at Queenstown Lakes District Council, giving her deep insight into local authority processes, decision making frameworks, and the complexities of the Resource Management Act.

Before joining Campbell Brown Planning, Jo held senior roles in both consultancy and development. As a director and senior planner at a Queenstown/Wānaka based planning consultancy, she led major multi disciplinary projects and provided strategic direction across a wide range of development proposals. She later served as COO for a development company, broadening her understanding of development drivers and bringing valuable commercial perspective to her planning work.

Jo’s strengths lie in strategic planning, clear communication, and the practical day to day management of resource consent processes. She has represented clients at Council hearings, public meetings, and community consultation processes.

Based in Wānaka, Jo leads our South Island presence and heads up our Wānaka office.

Outside the office, you’ll usually find Jo exploring the outdoors with her two young children—skiing, hiking, trail running, or mountain biking.
