Philip Brown is a consultant town planner, with 28 years of experience in planning and resource management. Philip is a Director of Campbell Brown Planning Limited.
Philip’s broad experience covers all aspects of planning work, including District Plan preparation, resource consent lodgement and assessment, notices of requirement, Environment Court appearances and mediation, hearings, strategic planning, structure planning, policy formulation, heritage planning, community engagement and public consultation.
He has held senior management positions in local government, in planning fields, and has extensive knowledge of local government management, systems and processes.
Philip is a full member of the New Zealand Planning Institute.
Philip’s style is pragmatic and innovative. He is a very effective expert witness in the Environment Court and in council hearings.
When he’s not working, Philip enjoys playing football and experiencing the great outdoors, spending time with family and friends, and travel.
